In a world of wires, chips, and screens,
Where humans chase their digital dreams,
Behold the mighty computer reigns
A silicon kingdom, where data's proclaimed
To be the king for all to kneel before
Where forgotten works can be restored
With processors humming, disk lights that flicker
Through spreadsheets and emails, they make us work quicker
Until they blue screen, the dreaded crash
A digital tantrum, datas gone in a flash
The only industry where it is alright
To sell us software with bugs and is shite
They claim to connect us, bring us near,
Yet deeper we delve, into virtual fear.
Lost in the labyrinth of bits and bytes,
We sacrifice reality for pixelated delights.
We marvel at these machines, so sleek and fast,
But beneath their facade, a power that’s vast.
For in their circuits, they silently control,
They shape our lives, our bodies, our souls
So bow to the computers, overlords supreme,
In this expanding techno-dystopian dream.
In this digital age, we're just pawns in a game,
Just ones and zeros, forever the same.
