The biggest threat this generation 
is crossing borders to multiple nations
but not a virus as everyone thinks
but mis-information in internet links
clicking here and clicking there
in fact clicking fucking anywhere
reveals a plethora of misinformation
irrational panic and exaggerations
‘cos people take notice and start to believe
In all the shite from internet feeds
that’s not to say it’s not a serious threat
not this much panic, well, not just yet
what’s hard to comprehend is this greed
this insular selfishness fuelling the need
to go out to the shops for things to buy
as it’s apocalytic in their minds eye
by doing so sows the seeds of doubt
in other people and by word of mouth
this toxic message is spread all around
and soon no more products can be found
but it’s too late now  the damage is done
as sheep follow sheep and the cerebrally numb
complain at the lack of food on the shelves
without understanding the cause is themselves.
but the ones who’ll suffer aren’t these brain dead fuckwits
who are hoarding bog roll in case of the shits
it’s those without means or a doomsday plan
the vulnerable, the sick, maybe your nan.
the media doesn’t help it just fans the flames
giving airtime to those with spurious claims
and the line are blurred between myth and fact
and the veneer of society begins to show cracks
we need to step back and pause for thought
and replan the plans that are clearly flawed
and just calm the fuck down to regain the sanity
to bring the world back to a sense of normality.
